Blake decided to pair the poems, "Innocence" and "Experience" together because his main focus on all of the poems is children. He talks about their innocences and their availability to things. He explains that they don't have much of a choice when it comes to things in their lives. He talks about how they choose to be happy because when children are happy and do what they are told there will be little harm and worry. He also says that they don't have control of things, but they do have the control of their attitude. Blake explains how life is a gift and that you should choose to be happy and that their is always light in the darkness. He is trying to communicate that children are what find the light amongst the evil.
