EMOTION from Frankenstein by: Jason, Fay, Nicole, Paige, and Hannah
We chose the word emotion for our theme. This entire book expresses the emotions of victor and his monster. The monster spends his entire life learning the emotions of humans, but when he tries to express himself with emotions the people become scared and reject him as a person. Through out the piece there is much death that occurs and with this death leads to emotions and illnesses of the loved ones. Natures plays a huge role within the book the monster begins to journey through life for the first time, and is experiencing Nature. Emotion also played a major part in the monsters desire for a companion or wife, and asks Victor to create one. Near the end of the book when the monster discovers Victor's dead body upon the ship he settles upon the fact that he has no more reasons to live because all of his emotions were focused on Victor, and the monster also felt compassion when he realized that he had evil inside of him. This book contains a lot of dialogue that uses strong, powerful words of emotion.
